The Hartford Sporting Rifle depicts an 1874 Rifle with some of the more common features found on rifles manufactured at the Sharps Rifle Company in Hartford Connecticut prior to 1875. This rifle features the following: 30″ #1 Heavy Octagon Barrel with Hartford Collar, Hartford German Silver Nose cap on the forearm, straight stock with a Military/ Hartford style butt plate made from straight grain walnut. Color Case colored action with double set triggers. Drilled and Tapped for Tang Sight. Barrel weights 1 & 1 1/2 come with Hartford Collar, tulip transition available on request. Custom length of pull and engraving are available on request.
