The 1874 Sharps rifle is well known for long-range accuracy. The Long Range Target Rifle continues this legacy. It is available with a heavy barrel starting at the #1 contour and going up to a #2 contour. Stocks are available in multiple configurations to suit the individual. Weights range from 10 1/2 pounds to North of 15 pounds. When considering this rifle for the NRA Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette competition please keep in mind that iron-sighted rifles have a maximum weight of 12.2 pounds with sights attached and scope sighted rifles have a maximum weight of 15 pounds with scope attached. Please select the Silhouette Rifle Option if you plan on using your rifle for NRA Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette competition so that we may ensure that your rifle is under the maximum weight requirements.
