The LH-05 rig takes the shooting experience of 7 time modern world champion Long Hunter, the leather expertise of Kirkpatrick; and rolls it into a beautiful, competitive, cowboy action rig. Certainly built for speed. The new champion features hand molding for a perfect fit. It has rolled-out edges for smooth reholstering and exposed trigger guard with cut-down front for quick first shots. The extra-wide molded skirt is designed for comfort and stability and the slight drop with 8-degree muzzle-forward cant allows you to draw the revolver with breaking your wrist at an uncomfortable angle. With these new features this is the rig for you: 1. A 2″ drop holster with an 8 degree muzzle forward cant allows for a quick draw without having to break the wrist at an uncomfortable angle. 2.The paddle back holster in combination with the 2″ drop lets the Long Hunter rig ride comfortably all day above the point of the hips. 3. These hand molded, flared top holsters are the most ridged all leather design in the Kirkpatrick lineup. The fronts have been cut down for fast competitive draws with either hand. 4. To complete the package, we added a 3″ tapered belt for comfort and a 6 loop bullet slide that can be positioned around the belt without removing the holsters. We have been proudly making our custom holsters right here in the great state of Texas, since 1950. All our holsters are custom made from high quality American leather. How our holsters are built We start by cutting from the best part of the hide. We then hand dye the holster to ensure a rich deep color that will accent your firearm. All our holsters are sewn using seven cord bonded nylon thread and double stitched in all critical areas. The heavy weight construction also makes sure the holsters stay open when re-holstering. Each holster is then hand molded for a perfect fit. The edges are then sanded and hand burnished to a smooth glossy finish. This helps prevent moisture from entering the edges of the leather. They are then polished and finished with a clear coating to protect the finish. The belts are made using heavy 9 oz. saddle leather and are fully leather lined. They feature 24 hand molded bullet loops and come equipped with high quality solid steel and brass hardware. Our custom gun belts are built to last a lifetime.
